11 years missing? i don't think so :)

yeah yeah cliche right? that i'm gonna write about our little reunion yesterday night. by little, i mean crazy-loud-laughter-old times-old habits-teachers-school-new life-boyfriend-blogs-facebook talk we had during our reunion :) if that's considered little, i bet u can imangine if i use the word 'grand' instead? ;P



so a friend of mine since darjah 2, cik tengku nadiatul hanim suddenly buzzed me on day and called up for a reunion. sounds fun, as i hardly keep in touch with the primary school peeps anymore. they are here though, scatterred around kuantan. and that, actually made it easy :) so nadia had been asking around and later i suggested she makes an event plan so that the invited peeps can actually respond :) so the original venue was CROCODILE ROCK :) i must admit, i had never been there eventhough its like only 5 minutes drive from my home~



when we arrived there, somehow the place is fully booked.unexpected though, but then we realised, that was the time of the month where ppl ade duit banyak.heh. so TJANTEK was suggested, but somehow the thought that kat sana susah nak park, and jalan situ sgt sibuk. erm so fikir2 lagi. suddenly SANTAI came to mind, and the next thing i realise, i headed our way there ;)



at first we thought there would be only 6 of us.haha somehow not many responded at the event kan.heh. but 12 turned up, plus my forever best friend cik yasmin ibrahim. yeah i suppose you can see her name almost everywhere in my blog jugak? lol. anyway. we made it. that small gathering actually meant a lot, and the fact that after 11 years we still recognise each other and still have that chemistry to talk and share things that happened in our lives, it think that's a really good start for all of us :)

3)APA METHOD DALAM PENULISAN ANDA?

tulis berdasarkan emosi pada ketika itu. mcm kdg2 ade post yg pre-occasion, on occassion, and ade jugak yg post-occasion. erm reasons?


pre-occassion: erm paling sikit la cara nih. contohnye kalau plan nak pegi kl esok. so i type post itu today, my plans, how excited i am san sebagainye lah :) just so ppl know how i feel before doing something :)



on occassion: contohnya kalau sy tgh marah sgt. and geram, and taktau nak lepas kat siape. so i'll write the post dlm keadaan marah. method ni paling tak disukai, i really don't enjoy doing it masa tu, because hati sgt marah, kdg2 type sampai menangis, tekan keypad anneliese kuat2 dan menyakitkan anneliese, and most of the time, i don't think much before posting. mmg selalunye tak rasional lah. mungkin saye lupa that org mmg baca this blog, and selalunye after sy da cool down, i'll save that particular post as drafts. defeats the purpose lah kan but somehow lepas marah2 kat blog, hati rasa senang sikit dan boleh berfikir later on.

my siblings adalah followers setia. harus la kan, i'm a family person and haruslah ade gambar mereka merata-rata :) but my mama and papa, i don't think so. on the basis that, kalau mama online dia akan main online game mcm sushi game tu so takde masa nak baca blog saya? ;P and papa pulak simply because he is a busy man and jarang sgt online. tapi they know i have a blog coz they always spot me sitting in front of the laptop, writing long 'essays' :D

the tale of chopsticks and morning calls ;) - day 6

at last! this post shall wrap up our vacation in beijing :) coz on the 7th day we headed back to kl awal pagi and basicly we wer on the plane the whole day so nothing much to write about. oh chop. except the good food in the plane lah i guess? ;)



alright here goes nothing. the 6th day is the last day, so. shopping day! :) went to 4 various markets, papa kata ok kite habiskan saki baki duit yg ade lah ye, get some sourvenirs for friends, dan utk diri sendiri jugak. today mama paling happy, coz she got barang2 utk rumah. let me tell you. alas meja, cadar, table runner, sarung kusyen. ape je yg dia tak beli? and that too, she got them for a really good price. so. yeah got something for imran's mum as well lah :j



the victims mestilah kotorang, had to bawak balik all the things. papa bought another luggage, just for the things that we bought :P so i guess nothing much to write lah :)



alright peeps, this marks the last post on beijing. hope u guys enjoyed my previous posts, and thanks a lot for reading. and yeah, sile lah jealous ;P and here are the saki baki pictures, taken at random places on the 6th and 7th day, when we were unsound ;)

our first destination on this 5th day was the RUBY AND SAPHIRE CENTRE. somehow this company is the company that mentediakan the raw materials for poh kong malaysia and also habib jewels. here we met the owner of the company, and he taught us how to differentiate a real gem stone and the fake ones, just by using a laser pen. very useful, indeed :) wanna know how? get hold of me ok.heh. papa was very generous that day, so the girls got our share, a ring each. i got a ring with saphire on it, and anis got a ruby. papa kata, pelaburan jangka panjang.haha i think i understand his point ;) not that i'm a big fan of jewelleries, nut one or two on my fingers won't do any harm will it? *baby, hint2 ;P



after that, we headed to the BEIJING OLYMPIC STADIUM. if you are wondering how it looks like, let me tell you it was a marvellous architecture design, looks like sarang burung. very simple but still, very much grand in its shape :) lots of tourists there, as expected. it was a rather sunny day. did i mention that summer already started? so.yeah.



my favourite part came next. BEIJING PANDA ZOO! :D seriously i was stunned tgk the pandas, they were really2 cute! and do you know tht a panda can weigh up to 120kgs? yeah, tak tipu. they were so darn cute, and if only i can take one back home, mesti best sgt2! apparently pandas are not tame, and mereka adelah haiwan liar so kite tak dibenarkan menyentuhnye :( how sad kan.came all the way here but tak boleh sentuh. yeah, nama pun beruang kan so i guess safety first, huh? huhu. but anyways, sgt bersyukur, alhamdulillah sgt dpt tengok one of the most beautiful bears on earth, they were so adorable.



last on the schedule was the SILK STREET, another shopping centre. as usual, mr.mohamad lead us and taught us how to bargain. the thing about these shopkeepers kan, when they invite us in, they had this sincere smile. but if we refuse to buy they will persuade until we give up. salah org la kan, if they think they are clever, we are more clever than them.haha! give u a tactic: kalau diorg tak setuju dgn harga yg kita mintak, quickly try to leave, and tak sampai 2 tapak out from the kedai, the shopkeeper will take your hand and terus agree with the bargained price.so, bargain lah dgn harga paling rendah. never naikkan even 5 yuen. they will membebel lah but at last akan jual jugak. hehe :)

haha ok i admit. this procastination really makes me malas wanna type panjang2 ;P and yesterday that doctor-to-be sister of mine da bising2. "min, bile nak update blog nye??" ohhs rasa disayangi dan ditunggu-tunggu.hehe. anyway. this post shall wrap up our journey to beijing on the 4th day :)



that morning we went to a place called THE SUMMER PALACE :) seluas 270 hectars, somehow we were told that this place is a garden that the emperor's mother loves to go to, especially during summer as there would be beautiful flowers everywhere :) but kitorg tak sempat pusing the whole palace, luas sangat so sempat stop by kat some places je~



next we headed to a place, FRESH WATER PEARLS CENTRE :) we were taught how to differentiate a real pearl and a fake one. and a fresh water pearl's shape is not round, slightly mcm jelly bean.haha.ok lapar.mama, i want jelly bean kejap lagi eh? ;P anyways, these pearls come in different colours which eventually has its own meaning. for example, purple pearls symbolises love and romantic. erm haha mcm pelik kan? :D we got some sourvenirs for papa's staffs and for ourselves too. bracelets. mama semangat sgt, she got her share as well :)



then after lunch, we went to SUNNY STREET MARKET, a place for shopping, famous for its bargainable price, and when i say bargain, we can bargain until 20 percent of the price on the tag. see how banyak diorg amik untung kan? ;P haha. today, officially i admit to the world that my papa, encik mohamad bin shahul hameed is the best bargainer alive :D sekian terima kasih.hehe. so here i got some sourvenirs for my fellow siblings of different parents, u know who u are lah kan :)



that night, we were brought to HARD ROCK CAFE BEIJING :) nothing much, just got something for my mr.monkey <3 and abg got something for cik carrot :) yeah, as you know honey.saye terharu di sini.haha! ;) that ,marked the end of day 4 :)

sorry for the procastination yer, takde mood nak tulis blog. but worry no more, i'm back :) well, we got used to the food there yg sometimes mcm tak berperasa tu. haha. on the third day, our first destination was a jade centre, where we were taught on how to differentiate between a genuine jade and a fake one. so you out there, if u have a jade, let me check for u whether its genuine or fake. hehe ;D



didn't get anything from there, not a big fan of jades though.hehe. next we headed to a crystal place. on on the way there, our bus was stopped by a group of people. somehow these people mogok and tak puas hati pasal something lah rasenye sgt lame so tak pyh tulis sini. diorg boleh pulak dtg beramai-ramai, and duduk bersila atas jalan raya tu, and blocked all the vehicles from using the road. ngeng betul :S and it took about 1 hour, until the police came and managed to move the crowd so that we can pass. and within that 1 hour, mcm2 benda kitorg tengok. some really unpleasant view jugak.huhu. whatever it is, we managed to get to our destination on time :) there, nina got herself a white crystal bracelet :)



oh yeah, on our way, we passed a building that looked like disneyland. yeah, i was right. it supposed to be disneyland beijing, but somehow the company that was responsible to build it got bankrupt, and until now, it is still terbengkalai like that. hanya ade pagar yg mcm castle tu je. huhu what a loss, don't you think? :(



next, yeah, the most exciting and awaited program, we headed to The Great Wall of China :D we managed to climb about 391 stairs! masyaallah, the view from that height pun da sgt cantik and we were so greatful because not eveyone can sampai to that place, one of the wonders of the world :) very tiring, but worth it i must say. if only we were given longer time to spend there, i'm sure we would manage to get to a higher level :) oh. atas sana, we saw a lot of names engraved on the walls and we did that too :)



after that, we were taken to a chinese medicine centre. there we met Dr.Liew Ee, a pharmacist, looks nerdy at times but overall he is the most selamba and funny guy(pharmacist) alive :D haha seriously. with his broken english, broken malay, i think the only thing that kept us awake was his body language. dia sgt kelakar!! oh my i feel really bad i couldn't upload his pictures here coz dah terdelete.my bad.hee~



so that's about all we did on the 3rd day :) more pictures :)

today i was shocked by a news told by a friend of mine. received a call at 4am. i was awake, and i was waiting faithfully for a call from my dearly beloved. i stayed awake up until now, as i promised him that i would wait for his call and i was afraid to go to bed just in case he would call me anytime and i don't want to miss his call just because i fell asleep. and still waiting.



the news i got from my friend was indeed shocking. our childhood friend was involved in an accident, and passed away at the scene, together with his parents, but thank god their little sister aged 7 managed to survive. it was a hit and run case. innalillah. immediately after i was told about it, without realising it, tears fell down on my cheeks. i don't know who to tell. i don't know who to call and cry to. ya allah. how life can be so unpredictable. that crazy boy whom i befriend with when i was still schooling in kelana jaya, when i was in standard 1, until yesterday. a friend who never fails to wish me on my birthday and listen to me since i've known him for the last 14 years. i really can't stop crying right now :'(



just minutes ago i logged into my facebook account and on the right side of my account, his picture appeared, and somehow facebook told me to reconnect with him. guess it was too late now :'( and what makes my tears come down faster is that his facebook account was still there, as though he was alive :'( then i deleted him from my friends list, i can't handle this :'(



no more stupid jokes to make me laugh and scold him later, no more surprise birthday gifts and late night ghost messages to keep me awake all night, no more birthday wishes, no more random calls to tell me the updates on his little sister and how his diet had worked out, no one else to call me 'puteri' as he is the only one who calls me with that nickname. no more adam. no more adam. no more adam :'(

al-fatihah. dearest friend, my prayers are always with you :'(

its really moving me, how life can be so unpredictable. i'm thinking what will happen to that 7 year old little girl, without her parents and only brother, she has just recovered from lost of her second brother about 3 months ago. ya allah, give her strength. i don't know what would happen to me if i lost a person that i love so much, and no one to turn to :'(

p/s: these 2 days are so tough after a good time on holiday. unsatisfying result came at the door with some scoldings from the old man, stupid mood swings which then lead to emotional moments with him all in one day. and now the lost of an important friend. ya allah pls help me get through this.

alright, as promised, and since i have nothing better to do, i decide to continue with the 2nd part of our holiday.hehe. oh lupe nak bgtahu, kat beijing, subuh pada pukul 2.47am ye and imsak pukul 4.47am. at 5am kat sana dah cerah mcm pukul 8am kat msia! syukur sgt dpt lihat benda2 mcm tu. masyaallah :)



so that first day, we had breakfast at the hotel, and terus went to a place called QIANMEN SQUARE. kawasan luas, byk sgt tourists, and there were security guards everywhere, and satu tiang ade lebih kurang 10 cctv. i know, overrated kan? but still, thats one of the ways to secure that place sbb terlalu ramai org. opposite that place is the FORBIDDEN CITY. seluas 4km, this place used to be the istana kaizer (or the king's palace) and sebelum 1949, tempat ni mmg adelah forbidden daripada dimasuki. mr.tony told us that takde org lgsg can enter that palace without a special pass from the king himself. the main entrance dikenali sebagai PINTU LANGIT, and along the pathway, ade one special pathway for the king, dikenali as JALAN KAIZER coz that pathways is only to be used by the king. inside this forbidden city, there are so many doors, and the architecture was amazing. betul, tak tipu :) and kat dlm tu pulak, there is a taman whcih is so beautiful :)




after that long walk, we headed to a place to for foot massage. pertama kali dlm my life, as i am a very ticklish person. haha but it was fun. the male masseuers ade yg comel2.haha sorry can't forbid my naughty side from looking at them.haha. ade perkara kelakar terjadi. the person who massaged abg said that abg has a beautiful face.haha!! but chill lah, the person who massaged mama said to mama that anis and i are pretty. wee~ ;P suddenly we feel like chinese.haha. mama cakap, pandai eh nak mengorat time urut2.haha sesuatu sgt ;P




the massage really revived us, seriously i enjoyed it eventhough geli amat and sakit sikit kadang2 tu ;) that night, after dinner, we went for an acrobatic show. this is a special performance for summer, only for 3 days. so we were quite lucky lah to come to beijing at that time. the acrobatic show was great! they were professionals, young, and sometimes it looked like they were flying. ade one part, one couple were dancing gracefully, flying everywhere.. and it was so romantic :) overall, it was a great performance and malaysian acrobats should learn something from them.. got back at the hotel around 9pm, balik mandi dan terus tido. hee~

hi faithful readers :) sorry for not updating for so long! was in beijing for 1 whole week, yes, 7 days where summer has just started. arrived in kl yesterday and terus come back to kuantan and sampai rumah around 1am. terus tido, got tired of the journey~



i assure you this is going to be a long sequence of posts as i wanna share my experience there, and show some pictures we snapped, which you can find more pictures in aiman's facebook :) 7 days of wake up early in the morning, sleep early, never ending walks, fair whether, congested traffic, acceptable food, regular people, and some new mandarin words we learnt :)



we took cathay airways from kl-hong kong. there was this cute stewardess, who has a very loud voice. her name was Rach. all of us think that she would be perfect with her mouth closed.haha! ;P watched many movies during the 8 hours journey- percy jackson, how to train your dragon, true legend, valentine's day, and so many more :)



transit at hong kong, and board into dragon air airways from hong kong-beijing. as we arrived in beijing, we decided to change our names to Ming Cheng :D crazy, i know :D oh if there is anything that we noticed at the airports, are those young female security guards that literally look like models.no joke man. we arrived in beijing at 5.30pm, met our tour leader, mr.tony, a han chinese guy who practices taoisme, can fairly speak indonesian language. tapi kelakar jugak ;)



beijing is a busy city with congested traffic.seriously.the population reaches 20 million people. the roads are as such as in Europe, drivers on the left side. here i saw so many expensive cars such as volkswagens and audis, papasaid because they are made in china. tall, magnificent shapes of buildings everywhere. papa said china would be the next kuasa besar after america in years to come, as it has the population, as well as the purchasing power. oh yeah, i saw one chinese guy bawak skuter dgn kaki bersilang.mcm mane tu? ;)



so later after dinner at a muslim restaurant, we arrived at our hotel, CHANGFENG hotel in the heart of beijing town. a 3 star hotel i suppose, with too many channels to watch but only one channel in english.haha! alright the, i shall continue our journey there in the upcoming posts :)

but again, perfection is nothing but boring..

i am proud to tell the world that i am in love with a person who is not perfect at all, and learning to accept his flaws actually makes me love him more :) i love you baby <3

can't get enough of water parks :)

after about 1 week of planning, farah, nadia, izzat, zubair and myself finally landed our feets at the gambang water park. yeah, about 40 minutes frive from kuantan, not so hard to cari pun :) nadia was the one in charge of transportation, fetched me and farah at around 8am :) zubair drove his kancil and picked izzat on the way, and we decided to stop by at zaman, a restaurant famous for its nasi lemak. well as expected, the boys arrived betul2 after we finished our food.figures.heh.



it was not a busy day so our journey was smooth, and when we arrived at the park, there were nott so many people around pun. gambang water park. opened for quite sometime but kitorang ta penah sampai pun. pathetic eh?haha. its kinda hard to gather everyone, as our cuti are different. luckily pun zubair has just started his semester break.



honestly sy mcm kagum sikit dengan e-value concept, cashless park ni. tak payah sibuk2 bwk duit byk2 to buy anything offered, as the concept is indeed neat. wah mcm canggih la pulak kan.. ye, maju. nadia, ye kuantan kite maju :D hahah!!!! erm the thrill rides, slides smua yg ade at that place is kinda similar as the rides taht can be found in a'famosa, but again... i am very much thankful because i had spend a hell of great time with the cherpoms back then at a'famosa, and now, at gambang, i had a marvellous time with my dearly beloved high school peeps :) and fyi, we explored all the rides, and it was just pure fun! :)



after that, we went to izzat's new place, dia amik his jeep. tak disangka2, izzat buat air! hahaha!! credit la sikit ;p and lepas tu we went for lunch at sara thai restaurant. i was the cashier lah kan, and the food there is not that expensive lah. pedas nak mati ok but somehow i enjoyed it gak lah.. degil nak mkn sgt then balik rumah, sakit perut ;P anyway, lots of stories that we shared, tak pernah terdiam langsung. as usual, when zubair and i meet, we will start our conversation about hindustan thingy, sampai yg lain2 akan terdiam dan makan penuh fokus ;P haha zubair, kite mmg hebat.hee~
